66 -- MOBILE REAL TIME ANALYTICAL PLATFORMS SOL DAAM01-97-R-0002 DUE 030397 POC Contract Specialist Ruby Mixon (410) 612-6797 Contracting Officer William Hofmann (410) 671-2209 (Site Code DAAM01) The U.S. Army Edgewood Research, Development and Engineering Center (ERDEC) is seeking to purchase five (5) real time analytical platform systems consisting of laboratory grade equipment and support equipment integrated into a stable shelter 4-wheel rive vehicle. This mobile system shall consist of a gas chromatograph, mass spectrometer and associated interpretation hardware and software capable of quickly and accurately determining if the immediate environment is contaminated with chemical warfare agnts. The integrated units will be shipped FOB Destination to the following locations: Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; Umatilla Chemical Activity Laboratory, Hermiston, Oregon; Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, Arizona; and Pueblo Army Depot, Pueblo, Colorado. There is an OPTION for five (5) additional units, if exercised, with destinations to be determined. The first unit for First Article Testing shall be delivred 180 days after contract award. The Government anticipates an award on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The period of performance is 330 days exclusive of the option. The solicitation will be available for issuance on 30 January 1997. Proposals shall be due 30days from date of issue.
