Z -- UPGRADE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, ANDERSON AFB, GU SOL F64133-97-R0005 DUE 012297 POC SSgt Knepper, Buyer, or Sherry Wall, Contracting Officer at (671)366-4683 or fax (671)366-3242 The work includes but not limited to, furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, quality control, supervision, and support, in performing all operations for the replacement of primary cables, transformers, switches, and switchgears, and the installation of all associated electrical wiring, support and connection at Andersen AFB Guam as follows: A. Excavation and trenching as required. B. Demolition and disposal of the old transformers and switchgear and the debris associated wiring distibution system with all system appurtenances. C. Installation of manholes and handholes as required. D. Provide backfill, top soil, seed, or sod and other restoration of landscape disturbed by demolition or installation. E. Provide accurate "redlined" and "as-builts" drawings for futer use. F. All other work specified in the specifications and shown on drawings and or miscellaneous incidental work not shown, that may be required to complete the project. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000.00. The contract type contemplated is a Requirements type Contract which includes a base year plus four option years. The performance period for each Delivery Order will be negotiated. Bids are solicited on an unrestricted basis. There is a charge for this solicitation in the amount of $16.00.
