This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-97-Q-3FACT1. This solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3499 and the size standard is 500 employees. The following is a description for the listed services. 1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, services, equipment and materials to fabricate (4) WLR "E" Class Rudder Stock IAW with Coast Guard Drawing 75E-WLR-2200-3B. 2. Fabricate (4) WLR "E" Steering Rudders IAW Coast Guard Drawing 75E-WLR-2200-3B. 3. Fabricate (4) Body Bound Bolts IAW Coast Guard Drawing 75E-WLR-4200-3B. Items 1 and 2 will be preserved in coal tar and crated. One of each of items 1, 2, and 3 will be shipped to Coast Guard Cutters located in Hickman, KY, Pine Bluff, AR, Vicksburg, MS, and Greenville, MS. As prescribed in FAR 52.12-2. Evaluation-Commercial items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
