S. Coast Guard requires an overhaul contract for the T56 Engine QEC Kit, Nacelle LSN 1560-00-469-1629, P/N 376190-83. There is no known overhaul manual for this item. The Coast Guard seeks contractors interested in supplying suggestions, additions and deletions for a statement of work for a future overhaul contract. A draft statement of work of known rework and processes desired by the Coast Guard does exist. Interested parties may request copies of this draft and instructions for making suggestions from Charlie Burgess via facsimile number 919-335-6496. Telephonse requests will not be honored. This is not a request for proposal. Contractors are to submit only suggestions and changes to the Coast Guard draft. Suitable suggestions and changes will be incorporated into the Coast Guard's draft for use in the final solicitation. The closing date to request the draft statement of work is 31 January 1997.
