Replace two (2) 75 ton reciprocating chillers with tw o (2) new 93 ton reciprocating or helical rotary screw chillers. Replace the ex isting chilled and condenser water pumps. Add flat plate heat exchanger for fre e cooling. Replace the existing simplex temperature control air compressor and air dryer with a duplex. Replace condenser water chemical treatment system. Ad d a refrigerant monitoring system for the chiller room. Install a headered pipe system with 2-position valves for both the chilled and condenser water systems in order to operate any pump with any chiller, expand and upgrade electrical com ponents and system and provide a stand-alone DDC EMCS for the new HVAC equipment . Contractor shall provide temporary chillers with total capacity of at least 7 5 tons and all parts required to cool occupied areas of the building. Architect ural and structural changes required to complete systems, and all other items me ntioned in the specifications and drawings, at the O.C. Fisher Federal Building, San Angelo, TX. Pre-solicitation notice to be sent on or about 1/09/97. Proje ct No. ITX95022, Solicitation No. GS-07P-97-HUC-0012. Estimate Cost Range: $250,000 to $500,000. The apparent low bidder will be required to submit and receiv e approval on the qualifications as outlined in the specification prior to award .
