The Department of Justice intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on behalf of the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) for conference planning services to include, but not limited to, professional, technical, and clerical services, facilities, equipment, and materials. These services will be required for conferences of various sizes and objectives to be held nationwide. Other Department of Justice components may use the contract as necessary to meet their needs. The contract will be awarded with options that may extend the total period of performance up to sixty (60) months. The estimated solicitation issuance date will be February 9, 1997.
