The Los Angeles Air Force Base and the Space and Missile System Center are preparing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide publishing services for the Base Newspaper. The Bi-monthly newspaper, known as the ASTRO NEWS, provides news and command information to the people that occupy all base facilities. The government pays no costs associated with publishing. The publisher's profit is made through advertisements. All proceeds from the sale of advertisements belong to the publisher. The newspaper is currently on a tabloid-size publication (11X17) of 5,000 copies. It is imperative that all interested sources respond no later than Noon 1200 PST 23 Jan 97 by the quickest mode possible. When requesting information or an acquisition package, be prepared to state your company's name, complete address, telephone number, Facsimile number if any, and the contract action number of this synopsis.
