National Imagery and Mapping Agency requires the procurement of Landsat
5 imagery via the direct downlink to a deployable ground station
currently known as Eagle Vision. This deployable ground station is
capable of programming and collecting the Multispectral (MSS) and
Thematic Mapper (TM) imagery from the Landsat 5 satellite. The Eagle
Vision system development is being conducted under the Office of the
Secretary of Defense's Foreign Comparative testing (FCT) program. The
Eagle Vision system requires access time to use the Landsat 5
satellite, receive and process satellite programming collection
requests, and; transmit ephemeris and image data to the Eagle Vision
system. The proposed contract is for a one (1) year period, with four
(4) one-year option periods. Respondents may provide descriptive
literature indicating a capability to meet the requirements of this
synopsis to the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Attn: PCO, MS D-5,
4600 Sangamore Road, Bethesda, MD 20816-5003. Replies should be
received in writing within 15 days of this notice. All responses will
