Popkin, Contracting Officer (301)227-1904 The National Imagery and Mapping Agency requires the procurement of remotely sensed LANDSAT, IRS-C, and other commercial imagery. It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in negotiation of a sole source contract with Earth Observation Satellite Company, since they are the only known firm possessing a commercial satellite capable of providing 30 meter ground resolution, and seven spectral bands for collecting thematic data. The proposed contract is for a one (1) year period, with four (4) one-year option periods. Respondents may provide descriptive literature indicating a capability to meet the requirements of this synopsis to the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Attn: PCO, MS D-5, 4600 Sangamore Road, Bethesda, MD 20816-5003.
