All valves, regulators, and gas meters will be provided by PG & E. The contractor's work for this project shall include the extension of the existing house line to the new gas meter locations. It shall also include excavation to allow PG & E to intercept existing mains or laterals. This project also includes the extension of natural gas pipeline from seventh avenue to the 4500 building area. The bidders attention is directed to section 00100 in the solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 1629. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17.0 million. Estimated cost is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The award of this project is subject to availability of funds for FY-97 projects. Plans and specifications for this project must be ordered by the DUE DATE of Jan. 23, 1997 to ensure receipt of bid sets at a cost of $10.00 for specifications (text only); and $16.00 for half-size drawings. Full size drawings are not available. Orders received beyond the DUE DATE will not be honored. Plans and specifications will be mailed out on or about Jan. 30, 1997.
