The Defense Supply Service-Washington, intends to procure Occupational Analysis and Data Management Services for the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) of the Department of Defense (DoD). Occupational Data Base (ODB) will consist of services to update and enhance DMDC's military and civilian occupational and related databases, to include detailed occupational analysis, data management and delivery systems. Contracted personnel will be required to provide general database maintenance for Occupational Data Base (ODB) to include: (a) Recurring data updates, data system modifications, integration of related data bases, evaluation of performance, tuning of queries, creation of views and database modifications; (b) Survey and evaluation of user needs; (d) Development of new or improved data update, retrieval and delivery systems, to include documentation of procedures, and training of users; and (d) Occupational analysis to determine or validate linkages between military and civilian occupations and preparation of electronic and printed text and data to update related systems and documents to meet user requirements.
