R -- FIELD REVIEWS OF APPRAISALS SOL H05R97003900000 POC Cynthia Gordon-Benson, Contract Specialist at (312) 886-2760 ext. 2503. HUD intends to award a contract to perform on-site field reviews of appraisals on an as-needed basis for the HUD Ohio State Office. The contractor shall be State licensed or certified appraiser. The reviews will examine the accuracy and quality of appraisals performed by authorized appraisers. Some reviews will require interior examinations of the properties. Offerors must demonstrate experience with valuations principles and procedures and the capacity to perform the estimated quantity of reviews. The contract will cover the counties of Franklin, Madison, Union, Delaware, Licking, Fairfield, and Pickaway of the State of Ohio. One or more contracts are expected to be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The contract period is from the date of award through September 30, 1997, with two one year options to extend the contract. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this procurement is 6531. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The RFP will be available in approximately 15 days from the date of this notice and proposals will be due in approximately 45 days from the date of this notice.
