Lauer tel. 915-654-3804 Contractor shall furnish all plant, equipment, labor, services, materials, tools, applicable tests, supervision, and perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications, schedules, plans and drawings to convert MOD Dormitories with interior renovation of buildings #241, #242, #243 and #356. Work will include environmental, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and civil requirements including general conditions, gas systems (if applicable), electrical systems, water systems, sewer systems, heating systems and air conditioning systems. All work will provide complete and usable facilities. Acquisition shall be full and open competition for both small and large business in accordance with public law and federal acquisition regulations. Proposals from all responsible offerors will be accepted. Statement of work (SOW), plans, schedules, drawings and specifications will be distributed via electronic media. Hard copies of the SOW, plans, schedules, drawings and specifications will NOT be provided. System format of the drawings is AutoCAD13. All other parts of the package are in Microsoft Word 6.1. The magnitude of this project is between $5.0M and $10.0M. Performance time is not to exceed 1,490 days, but the contractor may propose a shorter period. Requests may be made by letter or FAX (915-654-3255). Telephone requests will NOT be considered. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is 22 Jan 97. Closing date is 21 Mar 97 at 2:00pm CST. A nonrefundable fee of $50.00 will be charged for each solicitation bid package. Firms who have already submitted a request need to send the fee, but not a new request. Checks and money orders need to be payable to -- Defense Accounting Officer GAFB. Cash will not be accepted. There will be no charge for requests for a list of prospective offerors.
