This acquisition will be processed using the commercial items procedures in FAR Part 12. The technical criteria for award of this contract will include as a minimum past performance, technical proposal and price. Interested offerors are encouraged to submit their standard commercial agreements in conjunction with your request for a copy of this solicitation. Lackland AFB is seeking sources for a requirements contract for the installation of floor covering at Lackland AFB, Lackland Training Annex, Wilford Hall Medical Center and at the Air Base Ground Defense training campus located at Camp Bullis. The contractor shall be capable of removing and installing various types of floor covering such as carpet, carpet tile, vinyl tile, ceramic tile, sheet vinyl, parquet flooring, rubber tile etc., and the appropriate floor accessories such as transition strips, stair treads, wall base etc. The contractor shall also be capable of moving furniture as necessary for installation of floor covering. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. SIC 1752. This solicitation and any subsequent contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon Act(when applicable). The Period of performance is a basic period with 4 option years.
