Test Center has a requirement for maintenance of cooling towers, steam
boilers, heating and cooling closed loop primary and secondary water
based systems. The services include providing all personnel, equipment,
tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary.
It will also include water treatment to include corrosion control,
deposit control and microbiological control. The service also includes
installing and placing in operation chemical feed pots or injector
pumps. It will also require the submission of a water treatment
monitoring program and a test report which includes pH and water
soluble content of base water, cycle of the blow down needed, corrosion
inhibitors to be used, chemicals for deposit control and
microbiological and macrobiological control. Potential contractors must
have been awarded the International Organization for Standardization
(ISO) series 9000, specifically 9001. The period of performance is a
basic six months plus four (4) one year options for a total of four
years and six months. This requirement is 100% set aside for small
business. SIC Code is 7389. Size standard is $5 million. All
