Johnson, Contracting Officer This project involves redirecting runoff into a constructed Vegetated Waterway with a Gabion Chute grade stabilization structure as the outlet. Major items of work include the following: 14,200 cu yds. of Class A compacted earth fill, 14,900 cu yds. of common excavation, 490 lin ft. of conduit for the underground outlets, 231 cu yds. of wire mesh gabions, 400 tons off rock rip rap, graded drain fill and vegetating the site. The work is located just south of te Red River, approximately 7 miles north of Electra, Texas, on the Wilbarger/Wichita County Line. Price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
