Osborne, Contracting Officer, (703) 602-8000 EXT. 543 The Naval Sea Systems Command proposes to conduct a Surveillance Program on fifteen (15) Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Guided Missile Round Packs (GMRPs). This will be provided as Government Furnished Equipment to HMSC. The work includes disassembly, testing, removal, and replacement of selected age dated items, and reassembley, retesting and the recertification of the fifteen GMRPs. RFP N00024-97-R-5480 will be issued to Hughes Missile Systems Company (HMSC) of Tucson, Arizona. HMSC is the only qualified source to do the surveillance work since they are the sole U.S. manufacturer of the RAM GMRP with the necessary tool, test and production capabilities to perform this work.
