The Government intends to issue a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price Type Contract with five consecutive ordering periods. The minimum quantity is 716 each and the maxium quantity is 2496 each. Delivery will be FOB Destination for the first ordering period and FOB Origin for the subsequent ordering periods. Required delivery of 316 each 260 DACA and 400 thereafter. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. This procurement will be a l00 percent Small Buisiness Set-Aside. Approved sources are Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, Los Angeles, CA 90040, Shur-Lok Corp, Irvine, CA 92713 and Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., Burbank, CA. Only approved sources who have successfully completed the required engineering test will be considered for award of this flight safty part. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
