Integrated P/N 034541 OR EQUAL. Quantity four (4) each. Engine Turnover
Stand is required to hold the Paxman Valenta 16RP200M engine and rotate
it a full 360 degrees for teardown and assembly operations. Paxman
Engine characteristics include: dry weight 21,000 lbs.; V-Style
automotive block with 16 cylinders; Measurements: 139 inches from front
to rear, 62 inches from left to right and 104 inches from top to
bottom. The Frame (Stand) must include the following minimum
characteristics: an electrical reversing motor and a braking mechanism
for failure protection. Motor must be capable of rotating the engine
180 degrees in less than 2.5 minutes; 10 inch (minimum) full swivel
casters with swivel locks and wheel stops (brakes); Each corner of
turning stand shall include a jacking screw to completely support the
weight of the engine and frame when not in transit; a towbar for low
speed transit; provide at least 18 inches of clearance at each end of
the engine. Contractors will be required to provide technical
characteristics describing the Stand they are offering. This technical
information must be adequate to ensure the item being offered is equal
to Systems Integrated Engine Turnover Stand P/N 034541. Delivery shall
be F.O.B. Destination to the Depot Maintenance Activity, Bldg. #573,
CWC 715, Marine Corp Logistics Base, Yermo, CA 92398-5000. Delivery
shall be approximately 90 calendar days after the date of award. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the
