The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to acquire maintenance services for an existing PBX telephone system (Siemens ROLM VSCBX) originally installed in January, 1987. The system consist of: 240 ports, 48 single-line ports, eight (8) OPX ports, 128 ROLM phone ports, 24 direct truck ports, 16 Tie ports, 16 DID ports and one (1) Console. The telephone instruments are a combination of ROLM Phone Models 120s and 240s. The system also has an Interalia Station Message Detail Recording System and printer; Battery Reserve Backup System; and an Octel Branch XP Voice Mail System. The system is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Period of performace is form award date with option to extend the service one (1) additional year contingent on availability of funds for Fiscal Year 1998. The maintenance service will begin as soon as the successful bidder has received proper security clearance. A walk-through of the site will be scheduled. This requirement will be processed in accordance with the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures (SAP). The standard Industrial Classified Code is 1731.
