63 -- CONVERT J-SIIDS TO CIDS SOL DAKF48-97-R-0008 DUE 022797 POC Contract Specialist Rebecca Coon (817) 287-5479 Contracting Officer Drexie Jennings (817)287-5454 (Site Code DAKF48) This is intended to be a sole source acquisition with Shane-Gelling Company to convert Joint Services Interior Intrusion Detection system (J-SIIDS) to Commercial Intrusion Detection System (CIDS) presently in use at Fort Hood, Texas consisting of a ZU Assembly, PN SG-7300 and keypads, PN SG-7350 which were designed, engineered, installed and delveloped by Shane-Gelling Company. The equipment must interface with software which is proprietory to Shane-Gelling. The conversion requires delivery and instalation of the equipment. Equipment must be, without modification, fully compatible with existing CIDS. The anticipated period of contract is 4 March 1997 through 30 September 1997 with two one-year options. The anticipated issued date is 27 January 1997. The anticipated date for receipt of a proposal from the sole source is 27 February 1997. Type of Contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements with approximatel eighteen units required per year. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will beconsidered.
