This is to clarify the software and printer requirements of the synopsis/solicitation that appeared in the CBD on 23 Dec 96 for a high resolution digital camera system. The required software is ADOBE Photoshop for image acquisition with IMAGE PRO for image post acquisition processing. Computer (IBM compatible) interface with standard SCSI port with SCSI Controller and cables. Software driver compatible with Photoshop plug-in Windows Twain Driver. Windows 95 interface for compatibilty with a variety of scanners and printers. Software shall be capable of converting images to ASCII format for transfer to other systems (i.e., Excel) for analysis. System shall include a thermal dye sublimation printer with near photographic color print quality, 1.9 minutes per page, and up to 64 MB RAM for caching of print jobs. The entire system is to be compatible with Windows 95. This additional information is being provided supplement the 23 Dec 96 announcement and all requirements in the previous announcement remain ineffect.
