Performance Investigation Process (HPIP), was developed for use by the
U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) personnel when investigating
human performance related events at nuclear power plants. The objective
of this contract is to enhance the HPIP Communications module and to
establish a procedure and basis for future enhancements of other
modules. The enhanced module will be used by NRC inspection staff in
their investigation of the root cause(s) of human performance problems
contributing to events. The period of performance is eight months.
