The National Gallery of Art (NGA) intends to award a sole source contract to Cerel Service, LLC for the service, maintenance and upgrade of the Ceberus Pyrotronics MXL Building Wide Alarm and Detection System. The fire alarm system is a computer based microprocessor network type utilizing analog and conventional detection type devices, HVAC interfaces and the reporting system for annunciation. The service, maintenance and upgrade is for the equipment, the hardware and the software that operates the system. The fire alarm system, as well as the hardware and software, is located at the NGA, 6th Ave & Constitution, Washington, DC, 20565. The NGA anticipates the award of a firm fixed price type contract with a performance period of one (1) base year plus four (4) one (1) year options, for a total of five (5) years. Interested concerns must furnish detailed data concerning their capability of providing the fire alarm support service. Responses will be reviewed to determine proof of the contractor's capability to satisify the governments requirement.
