Contractor shall Disassemble Thermal Technology Hot Press from Chestnut Run, DE and Reassemble and install hot press at new location. The contractor shall supply and install a new hot zone (heating elements and insulation). The contractor shall make one furnace run to 2000C and 20,000 psi to check out the system after installation and the contractor shall hook up the hot press, the IVI hot press and the Centor vacuum furnace to the heat exchanger cooling system. Also, the contractor shall set up the heat exchanger cooling system. It is intended to award this contract to Thermal Technology, Concord, NH on a sole source basis. Thermal Technology is the designer, builder and equipment is proprietary to them. Additionaly because of their familarity with the cooling system they can add hook up additional furnaces to the colling system saving us the cost of bringing in another contractor.
