Addition/Alteration to the Fuel Cell/Corrosion Control Maintenance Facility for the Ohio Air National Guard, Springfield-Beckley Airport, Springfield, Ohio. Work involves construction of a new 6,700 SF addition. The project includes aircraft corrosion control bay, paint room, storage, mixing rooms, parts cleaning and sandblast rooms, AFFF equipment room, and a supervisor's office. General construction features include pre-engineered metal building frame, 8 inch concrete masonry units, coiling doors, hangar door system, fire protection systems, metal wall siding, standing seam metal roof, as well as site work associated with the new addition. Site work includes earthwork, concrete access apron, concrete sidewalks, asphalt access apron, and asphalt parking lot. Special construction features include construction of canopy hangar door and installation of an AFFF fire protection system.
