PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE -- The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment required to upgrade dormitories 1328 and 1329 with 1327 and 1333 as alternates. The work includes but is not limited to; protective metal spat covers on existing hollow metal door frames, custom wood vanities, plastic laminated countertops, textured gypsum drywall, resilient base, carpet, paint, refinishing of existing terrazzo shower pan, shower liner panels, tile, medicine cabinets, vertical blinds, drapery hardware, asbestos/lead removal and disposal, showerhead and valves, porcelain enamel cast iron lavatories with faucets, bathroom exhaust fans, propeller fan/light fixtures, light fixtures, interior wiring and lighting and incidental related work. The estimated construction cost (ECC) is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Phased contract duration is 330 calendar days. This project is being issued on an "unrestricted" basis inviting full and open competition. The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 andthe related small business standard is $17,000,000.
