This work includes demolition of exisiting interior office spac e and reconstruction of new facilities for the U.S. Courts (Courtroom, 2 judge's suites, Clerk of Court office) and the Marshall Service (Squad room and detenti on area) and will require the entire range of architectural, mechanical, and ele ctrical work normally encountered in a major interior alteration. In addition a new hydraulic elevator and van sallyport is to be constructed. The entire bui lding will be provided with a new sprinkler system, and a new fire alarm system, and have asbestos abatement, and seismic retrofit and complete interior paintin g. The proposed procurement is Normal Full and Open. The cost range is between : $1 to $5 Million. The estimated construction time is 270 calendar days. Spe cifications will be limited to (3) sets per contractor based on availability. T here is no charge for solicitations or plans.
