This simplified acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1799, Special Trade Contractors, N.E.C. The work includes providing all labor, equipment and material to remove and dispose of existing underground oil storage tanks, associated piping, stabilization pad, and contaminated soil. Obtain soil samples (6 estimated) from the area of excavation as directed by the Contracting Officer or a representative of the District of Columbia. Excavate, backfill and repave per specification section 02220 and 02511. The estimated cost of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The projected date for issuance of plans and specifications is 23 January 1997 and the projected date for receipt of quotes is 20 February 1997. Site visit information will be contained in the solicitation. Plans and specifications may be picked up at the location indicated above or may be requested by mail to the above address or via facsimile by using fax# (202) 433-6900.
