Weschler (301) 227-1696 THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to offer a sole source contract to EDO Corporation, 1404 111th Street, College Point, New York 11356-1424 for the development of peculiar support equipment and logistical items necessary to operate and maintain their Mk-105 Mod 4 Magnetic Minesweeping System. The support equipment peculiar to this system includes such items as power pack (engine and generator), control system test sets and associated peripherals. The specific logistical support includes: the development of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) tasks for the determination of maintenance requirements for the upgraded system and the associated skill levels of the operations and maintenance personnel; the development of electronic technical manuals which display system operational characteristics and on-line interactive preventative and corrective procedures; and the development of spare and repair parts requirements and provisioning technical documentation for the system. Numbered Note 22 applies to the extent that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. (0010)
