20 -- COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT OF DIGITAL INTERROGATOR SYSTEMS POC Contact, Judy Testa, Phone (703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation to competitively procure three first article Digital Interrogator (DI) systems for shipboard use. These three units, to be delivered one year after contract award, will be used for government and contractor testing. The government expects to exercise option quantities for 38, 63 and 77 production units. The digital interrogator is an AIMS MKXII IFF product improvement effort and will be a functional replacement with full backward compatibility with all AN/UPX-25(V) configurations and all AN/UPX-27 interrogator installations.
