On 3 January 1997 the President's Budget (PB 98) cut funding in FY 98 for the Block II Single Channel Anti-jam Manportable (SCAMP) Prototype Terminal Acquisition. As a result it is necessary to cancel the SCAMP Prototype Terminal Acquisition. This was a state-of-the-art solicitation that incorporated a unique CAIV approach. We would welcome additional feedback from Industry regarding their experiences using this media. Industry will be advised of any future business opportunities regarding the Block II SCAMP as they occur. We appreciate and thank industry for their responses and participation in this effort.
