E-MAIL: none., none.. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is
interested in receiving proposals for wildlife pelt identification
tags. The tags must be non-reusable with a self-locking mechanism,
tamper resistant, resistant to extreme heat and cold, impervious to
tanning compounds, and must carry a permanent readable legend which
identifies the State, year, and a unique serial number. Although not a
requirement, the FWS is interested in exploring the possibility of
adding bar codes or other electronically readable format to the tag
design. Delivery would be to approximately 49 locations within the
United States. The contract will include four, one-year options to
extend the term of the contract. Interested companies should submit
writtent request for RFP package to the POC Ramona J. Polk, Contracting
Officer. RFP Number must be referenced. No telephone requests will be
accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be
