Scott Shelley, Contracting Officer 208-378-5111 The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for diving services to perform detailed structural examination, visual documentation and permanent record of the interior of the 1700 feet long tunnel and intake structure components at Tieton Dam including the wooden bulkhead gate in the elbow area. The maximum differential head at the intake structure is 204 feet. Water visibility will be variable, from 6 inches to 24 inches. The water temperature in the area of the intake structure and tunnel will range from approximately 45 to 50 degrees F. Tieton Dam is located approximately 40 miles west of Yakima, Washington in Yakima County and approximately 1/2 mile off Highway 12. The work will commence approximately April 16, 1997 and be completed not later than May 15, 1997. For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code is 7389.
