J -- RECONDITION GENERATOR HEAT EXCHANGERS, DAVIS DAM POWERPLANT, PARKER-DAVIS PROJECT, DAVIS DAM, ARIZONA SOL 1425-7-SI-30-12230 POC Sonja Poindexter, Procurement Technician, 702-293-8569 The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to recondition eight heat exchangers from one generator unit at the Davis Dam Powerplant. The principal features of the work include the following: (1) Loading and transporting the heat exchangers from Davis Dam to the Contractor's facilities; and return upon completion of the work; (2) Replace all cooling tubes and fins; (3) Clean and refurbish the heat exchanger heads; (4) Reassemble units; and (5) Perform pressure tests at the Davis Dam facility prior to final acceptance. The location of this project is at Davis Dam, on the Colorado River, approximately 2 miles north of Bullhead City, Arizona, in Mohave County. The presolicitation notice (SF-1417) for this project is currently available. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is February 18, 1997. The estimated date for receipt of bids is March 18, 1997. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code is 3443 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
