The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the non-personal service of on-site licensed/certified Dental Hygienist, not to exceed thirty hours per week. The contractor(s) or subcontractors will adhere to all policy, regulations, and guidelines directed by the Bureau of prisons. Each Hygienist will be subject to a security investigation which shall include, but may not be limited to, fingerprinting for FBI search, NCIC search, and drug screen through urine testing. The solicitation provies for two Hygienists, each providing 250 sessions. A session is defined as six hours. The schedule hours are defined as 8:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Monday through Firday. A one-half hour non-paid lunch period is included within the schedule. The contract period will be for twelve months from date of award. The scope of service is to perform routine an extensive prophylactic procedures and therapeutic procedures, following established guidelines of dental hygiene practices. Contractor(s) will maintain written and/or dictated reports as needed, on all patients referred for evaluation. Recommendations for futher diagnostic testing and/or treatment will be made to the Chief Dental Officer who will retain professional responsibility for patients referred. All services will be performed at the Federal Correctional Comples, 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, Florida 33521. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
