This synopsis supersedes and replaces all previous synopses under NIST Solicitation No. 52SBNS6C9101, previously published on April 1, 1996 and September 3, 1996. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement for printing production services to accept electronic files, convert of documents to camera copy, reproduce, bind, package, and distribute printed products in support of the Department of Commerce's National Technical Information Service (NTIS). Orders issued under this requirement will be divided into three categories: (1) Quantities up to and including 1,999 copies; (2) Quantities from 2,000 up to and including 19,999 copies; and (3) Quantities of 20,000 or more copies. Tasks will also include, but may not be limited to, technical management planning, contracts control, quality assurance, and scheduling and coordination. Detailed specifications will be available in the solicitation package. The Government anticipatesmultiple contracts awarded from this solicitation. The period of performance will be one (1) year from the date of contract award, with the option to extend for four (4) additional years. All requests for a copy of the solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at the above address or by e-mail. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 7334 and the small business size standard is $5 million.
