(407) 494-9956 A market survey is being conducted to identify firms to
provide leased computer equipment over a 3-year period. Computer
systems to include: a keyboard, mouse, monitor and mini-tower desktop.
The requirement is for equipment of current technology on a 3-year
lease basis. Maintenance of leased equipment and repair/replacement of
inoperative equipment to service within five duty hours is desired.
There is a requirement to maintain records of accountability to include
user model and serial number in both hard copy and database format plus
providing copies to the US Air Force. Leased equipment will have the
current version of Microsoft NT Workstation, Office Professional, NT
Client License loaded. Desktops must have a minimum of 16 MB of RAM and
be year 2000 compliant. Monitors should be a minimum of 15" running on
a 2 MB video card. Approximate number of leased computers would be a
minimum of 300 systems and a maximum of 1,000 systems annually.
Potential sources should provide detailed equipment specifications,
warranty, service, delivery, pricing and any other relevant technical
information. A requirements-type contract is contemplated with a
one-year basic contract period and two one-year options. Security
clearances are not required. The applicable SIC code and size standard
are 7377/$18M. Firms responding to this synopsis should provide
experience in the form of an outline of previous projects for specific
relevant work completed or currently being performed including
contract numbers, description of the work, points of contact, and phone
numbers; professional qualifications and specific experience of
personnel identified to perform the work; and any other pertinent
information which would enable the government to assess your firm's
capabilities. Conflict of Interest rules may apply which would prohibit
participation in related acquisitions. Firms must respond to this
announcement within 30 days from the date of publication and (1) state
whether they are a small or large business based on the size standard
above, and (2) indicate if a small disadvantaged or woman-owned
business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or
minority institution (HBCU/MI). The government reserves the right to
set this acquisition aside for small businesses, 8(a) firms, or
HBCU/MIs based on the responses received. Firms responding will be
notified of the results of the capabilities assessments. This synopsis
