Lanier, 910-394-6287/Contracting Officer, Martin M Honan, Jr., 910-394-6599 The project consists of replacing two (2) existing direct expansion split system air conditioning systems including the existing ductwork with an air-cooled reciprocating chiller and nine (9) air handling units serving individual zones. Each air handling unit will contain both chilled hot water coils. The existing steam supply in the first floor mechanical room will supply a steam to hot water converter. Chilled and hot water will be circulated through out the building via a four pipe system. Each air handling unit will be controlled by a zone thermostat (24 volt, manual changeover, single stage heat/cool) located within each space. The location of the work is building 726. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for 10 Feb 97 at 9:00 a.m. This proposed acquisition is set aside for small business. (0013)
