Weaver, Contracting Officer, (703) 602-8000 x512 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate with Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 for the FY98 through FY01 AEGIS Program requirements for AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) Transmitter Group OT-146/SPY-1D, OT-188/SPY-1D(V) and T-1348/SPG Radar (CWI) within the AEGIS Fire Control System (FCS) MK-99 MOD 3, ancillary equipment, components, associated support, data, installation parts, provisioning and documentation on a multi-year basis. An option will be included for FY02 requirements. The total equipment will be procured for DDG 89 through DDG 100 with options for DDG 101 through DDG 103. Raytheon is the developer and Original Equipment Manufacturer and is currently the only qualified source for this equipment with the special production facilities, test equipment and the experienced management, engineering and production personnel.
