Nickle, Phone (703)604-2119 On a sole source basis, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to contract with Rockwell International Corporation, Collins Avionics and Communications Division (CACD), for services and materials necessary for the modification/assembly of shop replaceable assemblies into approximately 86 each ARC-210 receiver transmitters, production of related components and assemblies, and services/supplies for inclusion in the existing reliability improvement warranty. CACD is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/ARC-210(V) radio, and is the only firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience to perform this effort.
