A -- COORDINATION AND TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION FOR ACTIVE NETWORKING SOL MDA972-97-M-0007 POC Barbara Meyrowitz, Contracting Officer, (703)696-4434. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order not to exceed $ 50,000 with Gary Minden of McLouth, KS within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis, to provide consulting services to DARPA/Information Technology Office (ITO) staff and the office Director and Deputy Director, on technical matters concerning current technical programs, and potential future directions for these programs. He will evaluate the efforts of technology development through site visits, telephone, email, conferences, and technical literature. Mr Minden has unique experience, first hand knowledge, and expertise in the development and management of DARPA technical programs in networking systems, active networking, distributed computing, and large scale networks that it is necessary to the identification of promising, emerging technology opportunities, and fostering the use of these technologies for defense research and development efforts. He will also provide assistance to the ITO Office in potential technology transfer opportunities as well as potential collaborative activities with other government and non-government organizations.
