The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL, intends to obtain modification of algorithms under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This purchase order will be on a sole source basis to the Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. APL developed the original algorithms for the signal processing capability within the Mine Technology Program under a previous SPAWAR contract. As the developer of these algorithms, APL is uniquely qualified to provide the modifications now required. Note 22 applies. (0014)
