Evans (907) 428-6192 Professional Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services are required for the design of the Vehicle Maintenance/Fire Station Complex 2,721 Square Meters (29,300 Sqare Feet) to be located at Kulis Air National Guard Base, Alaska. These two structures are anticipated to have Reinforced concrete floors, masonry walls, steel frame structure and sloped roof structure. Included are overhead doors, exhaust systems, mechanical and electrical systems, access/parking pavements, site work, all utilities and fire protection and support. Services to include all professional design and construction management services required to a. Provide a complete design consisting of architectural and engineering drawings, energy budgets, life cycle analysis, calculations, recommendations, specifications, and cost estimates; b. Conduct post award construction management consisting of bid review, surveillance, submittal review, change order review, and preparation of completion documents. Evaluation factors to be reviewed by the pre-selection and final selection boards in order of decreasing importance are: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services, (2) Specialized experence and technical comptence in the type of work required, (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time, (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules, (5) Location of the A/E firm in relation to Kulis ANGB, (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design.
