Simnacher (512) 939-2543 Non-personal services and material to provide total and complete water system/services required to control corrosion, algae, and slime in the heating, cooling and production equipment, waterfall and down-draft paint booths; and operation, maintenance and repair of de-ionzation units, ion exchange water softener, waste rinse water and waste batch water treatment systems in the Plating Shop; air washer systems, side stream sand filters; industrial drainage system; supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) cabling plant, SCADA hardware and software; closed loop system piping; cooling towers, waste transfer stations, pumps and controls; make-up water tank, pumps and controls; containment and sump pits, pumps and controls; waste water storage collection tanks, pumps and controls; reclaim scrubber water collection system tanks, pump and controls; and other services associated with the water system at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. The services are to be performed at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi TX. The contract requires a full-time chemist, project manager, and technicians on-site as a minimum. Services are estimated to start 1 August 1997 and will extend for a period of one year, with option to renew four additional years. A site visit and pre-proposal conference will be scheduled.
