The work to be performed under this project involves the remodeling of one existing building, construction of a three story 22,000 sq. ft. Classroom Building, and the construction of a new 2,900 sq. ft. Auto Body Shop Building at the Ramey Job Corps Center. The work includes site improvements, site utilities, slab on grade, concrete masonry units, reinforced concrete roof, elevators, spray paint booth, mechanical, and electrical systems. The estimated construction cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The estimated completion time is 280 calendar days. Requests must be in writing. Requests will be answered on a first-come, first serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. Pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for February 18, 1997, at 10:00 a.m., local time.
