Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals to construct a Composite Operations and Training Facility at the 174th FW/Hancock Field ANG Base, Syracuse, New York as per specifications and drawings provided by the government, abiding to all codes and contracting clauses. The building will be located on Hancock Field at the corners of Bullard Avenue and Chief Mula Drive. In addition to the base bid facility. Additive Bid Items (ABI's) will also be incorporated. The base bid will include but is not limited to the construction of a facility to house the Security Police, Wing Headquarters, and Operations and Training sections in a single story 25,300 square foot building. All site development including stabilization of the subsurface under the building pad, creation of a retention pond, road and parking lot development, and all utilities will also be included. The construction schedule and all elements of the project will need to be closely coordinated with the 174th FW/Civil Engineering Office. The Additive Bid Items (ABI's) will consist of items which may/may not be included in the construction contract. The potential ABI's are listed as follows: 1) Provide all electrical service and lines underground; 2) construct a concrete retaining wall and ornamental railings 3) suspend Air Guard furnished static display aircraft on contractor installed pads and also provide additional shrubs. All ABI's will also be consolidated per specification and drawings provided by the government, abiding to all codes and contracting clauses. The applicable Standard Industrial Code (SIC) and Federal Supply Code (FSC) are 1542 and Y111 respectively. The location of work is listed above. The proposed project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. IFB: DAHA30-97-B-0001 will be issued on/about 08 Jan 97, with a bid opening date on/about 07 Feb 97. The performance time for this project is scheduled for 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
