IPE5000 Imaging Plate Eraser, IPR 500 Imaging Plate reader, Imaging Plate, 20x25 CM, Imating Plate Cassette 20x25CM. The instrument must meet all of the following technical specifications in order to achieve success with the proposed research applications: Ability to detect and quantitate gamma rays and beta particl es, Spatial resolution greater than or equal to 150 um resolution at 33% contrast transfer function (or less than10 line pairs/mm at 33% contrast transfer function) for 14C autoradiography. Alternatively, this criterion may be met by demonstrating that the borders of the pyramidal cell layer in the rat brain can be delineated from adjacent white matter following injection of 14C-leucine, Scanning beam size or laser spot size greater than or equal to 25um, Imaging Plate grain (crystal) size greater than orequal to 15 um, Linear dynamic range less than or equal to 4 orders of magnitude, Compatibility with Macintosh or Macintosh clone computers, Image data exportable to 16-bit TIFF files, Detection Threshold: greater than or equal to 2 dpm/mm2/hr for 14C, Installation of the instrumentation, On-site training of laboratory personnel, and one year warranty of all parts and labor required to maintain instrument in operational condition.
