Patent and Trademark Office intends to enter into a Premier Support Service Agreement Contract with Microsoft Corporation, Premier Sales, 2118 Water Ridge Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28217. The agreement will provide for specialized techncial assistance, hot line information on a per incident basis. The agreement will include the following items: 1) Qty 1, Basic Premier Support Service for a period of 12 months, which includes 150 incidents, Technical Account Management, one server license to TechNet and one memebership to Microsoft Developer Network; 2) 20 additional licensed accessors to the Premier Support Service Desk WWW Site; and, 3) Qty 5 "packs" of additional support incidents at a rate of 10 per pack. This requirement is a sole source aquisition in accordance with FAR 6.301-1. Additionally, this announcement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format described in FAR part 12.6 as supplemented by additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation document as a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, 52-PAPT-7-00016, incorporates all required provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acq. Circular 90-44 as if stated in full text. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this solicitation. A completed Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items shall be submitted with the proposal, in accordance with FAR 52.212-3. The award of a simplified acquisition will include the provisions of FAR 52.212-4.
