The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) intends to negotiate an agency wide contract with Novell for a Master License Agreement (MLA) for a minimum of 3000 nodes. The MLA will include Novell products for new licenses, upgrades, maintenance and technical support. It will also incorporate a universal agreement for Corel Office and WordPerfect products. The following products are currently installed throughout the Department: WordPerfect; WordPerfect Office (standards and professional); Groupwise; Soft Solution; Quattro Pro; InForms; Application Master; Netware; Novell Directory Services; Manage Wise; System Products Software Master Subscription; and NSE Pro Subscription. The period of performance includes a base period and two option years. The Government intends to negotiates solely with Novell Certified or Authorized representatives only based on FAR 6.302-1 only one Responsible Source. Written responses shall include clear and convincing data substantiating the ability to meet USDA's requirement, and must be received within 15 days of this publication.
